The Liverpool Mile is a brand new one mile road race hosted by Mikkeller Running Club Liverpool, and forms Race 12 of the 2026 Merseyside Road Running Grand Prix. Taking place on Thursday 20 August 2026, the race will start at 6.45pm within Brunswick Business Park, Liverpool, on a fast, flat and fully marshalled traffic-free course.
Race numbers can be collected on the day at the registration desk close to the start line within the Business Park. A chip-timed event, The Liverpool Mile offers an excellent opportunity for runners of all abilities to test themselves over the classic distance, whether chasing a personal best or experiencing the mile for the first time.
The race offers a cash prize fund, with the top three male and female finishers also receiving trophies in recognition of their achievements. Post-race festivities will take place at Black Lodge Brewery, the home of Mikkeller Running Club Liverpool, located on Kings Dock Street just one mile from the finish line.
